About the Journal
I never, NEVER use this thing.

I got one because my bestest friend evar - or at least her OC's journal - is located here, and since she's my bestest friend evar, I wanted to get an IJ to show my support.

The thing with journaling websites is that there are so many of them, and I can only run one at a time. I've been with LiveJournal for three years now, and I don't see myself ever leaving them in the foreseeable future (since I'm not Fandom). And while I'm still at LJ, I just don't have the time or effort to cross post everything from one journaling site to the next.
